In AKM, student capacity is measured in relation to the ability to reason using language (literacy), in addition to the ability to reason in mathematics (numeracy), and strengthening character education. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced students to study from home. Teachers' unpreparedness in teaching and the lack of supporting facilities result in disrupted learning activities. The fatal impact ultimately occurs: students experience a decrease in their learning abilities (learning loss). Several partner school problems can be concluded. First, the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) has never been held at partner schools. Second, there is a misperception regarding the importance of literacy and numeracy. Third, teachers at partner schools have minimal knowledge regarding literacy and numeracy for students in elementary schools. Fourth, teachers at partner schools have minimal knowledge regarding the independent curriculum. Based on the problems mentioned above, the service team plans to provide a solution, namely by holding seminars on literacy, numeracy and an independent curriculum for teachers. The brainstorming method was used to gather opinions, information and experiences of seminar participants regarding literacy, numeracy and the independent curriculum. Seminar material on literacy, numeracy and the independent curriculum was delivered to participants using a lecture method, followed by a discussion method. The aim of this training activity is to provide understanding for lecturers at Universitas Teknologi Mataram in making proposals for promotions to academic positions via SIKOMING application. The participants felt that the material that had been presented was very useful considering that there were many obstacles they had where lecturers did not understand how to apply SIKOMING. The result shows that the participants successfully completed the functional position application form via the SIKOMING website. Due to this problem, we provide assistance to teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Mojosari to mae teaching moduls. </em><em>This activity aims to help the teachers to make teaching modules that is appropriate with the students learning styles. </em><em>This activity uses an adult education approach which usually caled the andragody approach. An adult education concept applies partcipatory method that involve participants being able to actively convey questions, opinions, suggestions and idea based on their knowledge and experience. As part of language proficiency,speaking skills need to be actively developed. Field observations indicate that many students still lack optimal speaking abilities at the school level. Influencing factors include psychological barriers hindering students from speaking English, such as shame, fear of making mistakes, and low self-confidence. Another reason is the limited space for students to flourish despite the brevity of their learning sessions. Therefore, steps need to be taken to enhance students’ speaking skills beyond the core classroom hours. The community service activities have two main objectives. Firstly, to improve students’ English language proficiency through English language training, and secondly, to assists students in gaining more confidence in speaking English. Implementation methods for this community service include providing materials, training, and guidance. It is the way to tell the story orally and has lesson for the students. Dealing with this fact, SMAN 3 Pariaman always conducts a an annual competition and one of the categories is story telling. In order to get talented students, the school invited the team from English Department of Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat to train the students through community service. To respond it, the team which consists of three lectures came to school to have socialization and training for the students. In that moment, the team gave and share information about the ways to tell the story, tricks and tips. After that, the team also trains how to tell the story by having guided training and ended with autonomy practice. Finally, the end of the community service, the team chose six students as the representatives of the competition which called as E-BATIK (Economic, Language and Information Technology). The students and the teacher are enthusiast with this program. Therefore, the aim of this community service is to explore and train students' public speaking skill so that they are able to speak with high self-confidence, especially in speech delivery by using an interactive learning strategy, in the form of group learning activities &nbsp;using videos as IT based learning. Through this strategy, it is hoped that students will get a new atmosphere where they will be motivated to discuss in small groups to determine the topics from some issues that will be developed into their speech. In groups, students will be trained to deliver speech guided by a tutor so that students are able to improve their abilities and self-confidence to have good speech. Freedom to learn provides space for teaching staff to innovate in learning. Based on the results of an interview with the head of SMP Negeri 1, Gedeg Mojokerto, there is a real need for training or workshops related to the use of technology in teaching and learning activities. By using this technology, it can increase the attractiveness of the presentation of material, thereby encouraging students and teaching staff. The method of implementing this service activity includes planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. Based on the results of the service, it can be concluded that teacher competency has increased in developing learning innovations in the independent curriculum. This is shown by the average pre-test score of 52.33 and the average post-test score of 76.67.
