Abstract

Educational institutions have the opportunity through the Mobilizing School Program (PSP) to get assistance from the Mobilizing School Facilitator (FSP) regarding the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum (IKM). Facilitators can provide PSP support through workshops. Positive Discipline is one of the themes of the PSP workshop. This community service activity aims to provide an understanding of the importance of creating a safe and comfortable environment based on positive discipline in schools that will have a maximum impact on the development and character formation of students. The school supervisor, principal, and two teacher representatives from the Learning Committee (KP) were workshop participants. There were 42 people who attended the workshop at SMP Negeri 1 Kepanjen, which is in Malang Regency. Through the MERRDEKA flow method, participants were able to apply their understanding of the basic concepts of positive discipline, the five positions of control, class beliefs, basic human needs and a quality world, as well as the restitution triangle. . This method includes the following steps: Starting from oneself, Concept exploration, Collaboration space, Contextual demonstration, Elaboration of understanding, Connection between materials, and Real Action.
