Abstract

The Coaching of the Mathematics Olympiad for prospective teachers in the Mathematics Education Study Program, Islamic University of Majapahit aims to improve student competence in guiding elementary school (SD) students. This program includes strengthening Olympic mathematics materials and problem-solving strategy training. The implementation method consists of three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in students' abilities, with the average posttest score higher than the pretest. This program makes a real contribution in preparing students as competent educators in coaching the mathematics olympiad.
