Abstract

Learning innovation is a particular idea, idea, or action in learning that is considered new to solve learning problems in the classroom. Freedom to learn provides space for teaching staff to innovate in learning. Based on the results of an interview with the head of SMP Negeri 1, Gedeg Mojokerto, there is a real need for training or workshops related to the use of technology in teaching and learning activities. By using this technology, it can increase the attractiveness of the presentation of material, thereby encouraging students and teaching staff. The method of implementing this service activity includes planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. Based on the results of the service, it can be concluded that teacher competency has increased in developing learning innovations in the independent curriculum. This is shown by the average pre-test score of 52.33 and the average post-test score of 76.67. Overall, this workshop activity went well and obtained participant questionnaire responses with an average of 4,315 on a scale of 1 to 5 or a percentage of 96.27%
