PELATIHAN PENULISAN ARTIKEL ILMIAH DAN PUBLIKASI ILMIAH KE JURNAL NASIONAL MELALUI OPEN JOURNAL SYSTEM (OJS)

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide training on writing articles from theses and their publication in accredited and non-accredited national journals for final year students through OJS journal. The methods of this service activity are lectures and demonstrations. This activity was held on Saturday, 18 June 2022 Pk. 09.00 – 11.00 WIB with Zoom and Live YouTube streaming. The activity participants involved totaled 100 participants from 62 participants from Private Universities (PTS), as well as 38 participants from State Universities (PTN). In carrying out the activities, the resource persons gave lectures by presenting the material "Scientific Article Writing". Furthermore, the resource person gave a demonstration or practice in delivering material "How to Publish Articles to Accredited and Non-Accredited National Journals via the Open Journal System (OJS)". During the activity, the activity participants looked enthusiastic in participating in the training activities. From the Zoom quota of 100 participants, other participants also followed via YouTube live streaming. A number of participants asked questions to the speakers regarding the material that had been presented. At the end of the activity, the resource person provided a list of participant attendance via the Google Form, as well as provided an online survey about the training activities. The survey results show that the topic of the activity is in accordance with the material presented by the resource person, the presentation of the material can be conveyed properly, all participant questions can be answered properly by the resource person. Also, activity participants strongly agree if further training activities are held.
