PEMBEKALAN BAGI GURU BAHASA INGGRIS DI SMA PGRI 2 PADANG MENGENAI PENULISAN KARYA ILMIAH

Abstract

The purposes of this activity is to sharpen  the teachers’ awareness in writing scientific articles systematically. The lecture method is implemented to convey about writing scientific papers and procedures for publishing scientific papers in journals while the practical method is to provide opportunities for participants to practice writing scientific papers. Through this community service activity, it is able to increase the understanding of  SMA PGRI 2 Padang teachers regarding strategies for compiling scientific papers correctly and then encourage them to send the articles to journals. As the result, can improve student learning outcomes and contribute to the larger body of educational research.
