Abstrak

Lack of confidence and anxiety about speaking English in front of public become the main problems faced by students at SMAN 10 Padang. Therefore, the aim of this community service is to explore and train students' public speaking skill so that they are able to speak with high self-confidence, especially in speech delivery by using an interactive learning strategy, in the form of group learning activities  using videos as IT based learning. Through this strategy, it is hoped that students will get a new atmosphere where they will be motivated to discuss in small groups to determine the topics from some issues that will be developed into their speech. In groups, students will be trained to deliver speech guided by a tutor so that students are able to improve their abilities and self-confidence to have good speech. It is hoped that the results of this interactive learning implementation will inspire the other teachers to explore students' speaking abilities by using various interesting strategies.
