PENGENALAN MEDIA BAHASA INGGRIS BAGI GURU TK JEFELIND KIDS KOTA PADANG

ABSTRACT

This dedication to community done based on the needs of teachers in TK JEFLIND Padang that related to how to create interesting classroom athmosphere and how to teach English to early childhood. Another reason to do this activity is that most of English teachers at Kindergarten are not from English major. Furthermore, they have minimal knowledge about how to teach English to kids though they graduated from English major. Therefore, English Lecturers from Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat were interested on doing this dedication. They trained teachers how to use various media such as; puppets, pictures, flaskcard, real objects, and attractive video. Trainning took one day. All teachers practiced enthusiastic. Moreover, the teachers hope there will be another inspiring theme in the following dedication done at their school.
