Abstract
This training is designed to enhance the reading literacy competencies of teachers at MIN 11 Hulu Sungai Selatan through an online approach utilizing digital platforms. The training method involves the use of Google Meet, Zoom, and WhatsApp Group as interactive media and communication tools. The training consists of four sessions, covering theoretical understanding, practical application, group collaboration, and reflection on learning outcomes. Based on pre- and post-assessment results, 80% of participants showed an improvement in competencies from basic to proficient levels, and 85% of participants felt more confident in preparing literacy-based teaching materials. Although there were some technical challenges and time limitations, the use of WhatsApp Group as a supporting medium proved effective in facilitating smooth implementation. These results demonstrate that literacy-based online training can have a positive impact on the quality of teaching.
